"Our Preschool's objectives are to develop a child’s curiosity, confidence, independence and resourcefulness, all of which are foundations for future learning. Children will learn to be a member of a group away from home, respect other people and property, and adapt to routines and following directions, while learning to accept and express emotions in an acceptable manner.
The curriculum provides opportunities for children to participate in meaningful, hands-on, interactive experiences. Learning occurs through the child’s interaction with real objects, the teacher and other children. There are teacher-planned activities and also child-directed activities as seen in a sound, developmentally appropriate pre-school program. Activities are set up and are planned for individual as well as small group participation"
