Day in the Life

General School Mission

Our teaching philosophy is based on growing and learning through social interaction. The students learn to interact with and respect one another everyday by following both instruction and instructor example. Physical activity, songs, motor skill and sensory development, and development of intellectual skills and capabilities.

A Typical Day

The students and instructors start the day with circle time and discussing the calendar and weather. Songs are then taught dealing with the theme for the week (planets, alphabet, etc.). Everyone then sits as a "family" for snack time to learn manners and social skills, after which is gym time for small and large group motor skills. The day ends with show and tell and journal time. Your children will be in a safe loving environment while learning everyday skills and new and different things.

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

Instructors are available to speak with parents for a short time before, and always after class to discuss questions, concerns, etc. There is an open door policy for parents to meet with instructors or the director any time they please.
