Philosophy & Approach

General Approach to Learning: Play-Based, Montessori

From the Director:

"Our education program is one of the few in Chicago that offers Montessori classes in a Catholic environment. In essence, we are a school within a school. We have five Montessori classes at varying levels and four preschool and kindergarten classes that use the Creative Curriculum." - Taken from website

Day in the Life

General School Mission

"We believe that parents and the home environment are the major educational influences in the life of a young child.
The staff supports parents in their role of discovering who their child is and what needs they have for their life journey outside the home. In a Catholic environment, it is our goal to support the child becoming a creative and competent human being who is fully aware of himself or herself, others and the earth. We seek to instill a love of learning, self-esteem, a sense of motivation as well as discipline and order.

Our values provide an environment for children and families in which God can be encountered. It is an environment where the values of inclusion, justice, love, peace and right relationships are celebrated and communicated."
