Philosophy & Approach

School Philosophy

General Approach to Learning: Play-Based, Teacher-Led

From the Director:

Our teachers lead each class each day based on themes. Within these themes, students learn corresponding letters, numbers, and participate in various activities. These activities all enhance learning by demonstrating students' multiple intelligences. We believe preschool is a critical time for students to discover interests, explore ideas, and grow in an environment that encourages independence as well as social interaction.

Individualized teaching occurs for students who are behind as well as students who seem to be excelling. Teacher Aides are available to work one-on-one with struggling students. Lessons are also adapted in order to ensure all students are challenged.

Separation is Handled through:

  • Pre-entry meetings with parents at school
