From the Director:

At Learning Tree Preschool our academic focus is primarily on teaching letter sounds and recognition, visual phonics, counting and number recognition, colors, shapes, rhymes, and syllables. We also work on other important skills: name writing, coloring in the lines, cutting and gluing. In addition to the academic focus, our preschool will also help your child develop socially. Your child will learn to share, be kind, take turns, and be respectful to one another as well as follow directions and sit quietly.

Quality of Teaching

Individualized Teaching: From the Director

At Learning Tree Preschool because our student/teacher ratio is so low we are able to adapt our curriculum to the needs of the children. Whether a child is behind or excelling, we can accommodate their needs.

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

At Learning Tree Preschool we believe parental involvement is essential to the true growth of children. Each month we send home a calendar and parent letter so parents always know what we are doing in preschool each month. We also hold an open house, parent teacher conferences throughout the year, and a graduation pizza party that parents and students are strongly encouraged to attend.

During the year each child makes a “Book of Me,“ that includes pictures, artwork, and memories from the preschool year. Once a month we have a special day with a party held during center time that parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.
