General Approach to Learning: Teacher-Led

From the Director:

Our philosophy is to provide a quality social experience in a gentle, loving, and educational environment. We recognize and appreciate that all children develop at a different rate and time. Children will develop positive feelings about themselves and their abilities. We provide an opportunity for the child to learn through their play with a balance of self-discovery and teacher directed activities.

A Typical Day

8:50 - 9am: Car line Drop Off
9am to 9:15: Morning work (fine motor skills)
9:15 - 9:30: Circle Time
9:30 - 9:45: Snack (math-sorting, counting, AB patterns)
9:45 - 10:00: Fun Phonics
10:00 - 11:00 Centers (Computers, Literature, Discovery, Housekeeping, Art, One on One with teacher)
11:00: Prayer/Lunch
11:30: Story Time
11:45-12:15 Recess
12:25 Pack Up/Dismissal

Home-School Connection: From the Director

Our teachers and director communicate daily with parents via daily folders, emails, forms and flyers, and facebook. Progress Reports are sent home in the Fall and Spring. Conferences are held for those entering into Kindergarten.
