This NAEYC-accredited program boasts the most flexible options for infants through pre-K students. We offer both full- and half-day with the option to "design" your own schedule around our core curriculum. Students enjoy full use of our 52-acre campus, complete with pools, tennis courts, gymnasiums, gardens, trails, and more. Our environment is warm and nurturing and our focus, especially with our older students, is on Kindergarten-readiness. With the solid foundation we provide, our graduates move on to excel in the private and public schools of their choice.

Philosophy & Approach

School Philosophy

General Approach to Learning: Play-Based, Reggio-Emilia

From the Director:

Our curriculum encourages children to be actively involved in the learning process. Balancing child-initiated/teacher-initiated, active/quiet, and indoor/outdoor activities, the curriculum aims to prepare children for life’s experiences by helping them to develop social relations through peer interaction; fostering a positive self-image and a sense of personal achievement; encouraging opportunities for independence and success; encouraging creative expression and appreciation for the arts; and promoting sound health, safety, and nutritional practices. To promote each child’s Jewish identity and sense of Jewish values, the program offers experiential activities in Jewish customs and rituals and a warm Jewish environment. Students are encouraged to develop respect for cultural diversity within and outside of Judaism, and are provided opportunities for language and literacy in both English and Hebrew.

Quality of Teaching

Individualized Teaching: From the Director

Underlying our curriculum is a commitment to the child’s growth and development both Judaically and generally. Children are involved in rapid and dramatic growth and development in the first years of life. Although there are differences in individual development, the sequence of developmental stages remains the same. Expertise in child development enables the teacher to view each child individually and plan appropriate instruction in a sequential manner. When children progress at their individual pace, they can experience success and grow one step at a time. The introduction of new skills and behaviors is always based on the child’s state of readiness, not his or her chronological age. Presentation of any new task is contingent on the successful completion of all prerequisite tasks.

Day in the Life

A Typical Day

Our loving, highly-trained, and experienced teachers guide your child through our exceptional program. Every lesson and activity is carefully selected to align with each stage of your child's development.

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

Research teaches us that children are most successful when parents and school are partners. Helping children see consistency from the earliest of ages between home and school helps their behavior and builds positive self esteem. We ask that families commit to volunteering in the child's classroom twice a year, invite a special friend to attend VIP day, and join the Parent-Teacher Organization.
