General Approach to Learning: Play-Based, Teacher-Led

Day in the Life

General School Mission

Due to our low ratios, we can assure your child more quality one-on-one attention, less sickness, more learning, more safe play, manners, and positive discipline. We also offer competitive rates which make our top quality care affordable to every family!

A Typical Day

a typical day includes: reading, arts and crafts, outdoor play, music, dancing, indoor center play, and much more!

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

I consistently communicate with parents regarding their children's development. I provide parents with a quarterly progress report, which tracks your child's progress along with their program's learning objectives. I also schedule formal meetings with parents, often; however, I am available every day to answer questions.

Parents Say They are Encouraged to:

  • Fundraise
  • Are able to visit the school anytime we want
  • Go on field trips
  • Volunteer in the classroom
  • Receive newsletters

Modes of Communication

  • Notes
  • Phone Calls
  • Voice Mail
  • Email
  • Special Meetings
  • Two or More Regular Conferences
  • Drop-Off
  • Pick-Up
  • Regular newsletter/printed updates circulated to the whole school

Separation is Handled through:

  • Pre-entry meetings with parents at school
  • Small group sessions
  • Parents in classroom early on

Handling Separation: From the Director

children with separation anxiety are held and reassured that the parent will return, we do activities relating to mom or dad to comfort the child. we also encourage parents to slip a family picture into the child's back pack for a little relief. the first day of school is always hard, but after a while they will not want to go home!
