Philosophy & Approach

Day in the Life

General School Mission

"The philosophy of our preschool program is that young children can develop a strong self image through the use of positive re-enforcement in a preschool curriculum that enhances cognitive, motor, language and social skills which increases kindergarten readiness.

Our day encourages activities in math, reading, science, language development, fine and gross motor skills.

We strive in building kindergarten readiness skills by helping them develop positive self-esteem, participate in decision making, adjust to routines and transitions, and to socialize with other children in appropriate ways. They are also encouraged to respect classmates, teachers and themselves.

These goals are achieved through a variety of hands-on activities and experiences that address the whole child and seek to make learning fun. Our professional staff ensures that individual needs are met and nurtured in a warm, loving and supportive environment.

Our hope is that every child leaves our school with a solid foundation on which knowledge and positive self-esteem can grow and flourish."
