Day in the Life

General School Mission

"CAST is committed to providing the CAST community (children, staff and families) with an emotional and physical environment that fosters independence and creativity and celebrates each person's unique attributes. We believe that we are best motivated by laughter, spontaneity and curiousity, and flourish in an environment where we are free to explore the many wonders and opportunities that surround us. We believe that it is our mission to model respect for each other, our planet and our surroundings as well as our inner feelings, visions and goals. We believe that praise, encouragement, affection and a deep respect for all people shape a safe and caring community in which we all achieve success and positive self-esteem. "

A Typical Day

CAST is a Reggio Emilia inspired school where children "research" their areas of interest and teachers act as partners in learning. Therefore our curriculum is constantly changing. We do, however, also make sure that we prepare our children to be successful in Kindergarten and as life-long learners.

Handling Separation: From the Director
