Magnificent Me Preschool is a unique preschool that promotes curiosity, creativity, and confident independence. The home based setting provides an ideal bridge between home and school Although Magnificent Me still has the comfort of home, your child will still participate in daily learning experiences in a formal classroom setting. Preschool is intended to prepare your child socially and academically for what they will later encounter in school. Magnificent Me will provide your child with a variety of social and academic experiences that will support your child in developing these skills. The goal is to make learning fun and allow your child to interact with other like age children in both creative and educational play.

The curriculum is individual for each child. The skills and rates of growth vary based on each child's age and developmental stage. Approproate tools and curriclum are selected based on each child's individual skill set.

Magnificent Me lessons are designed uniquely for each individual child. The teacher and parents work closely together to create lessons that promote success fot each child. The small group setting allows each child to develop their own strengths and interests. All lessons are differentiated so each child can grow and develop at their individual pace.

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

No one is more important to you than your child, so effective communication is the key to have the most positive preschool experience. Each morning and afternoon the teacher will greet you and check in with you about your child. The daily greetings allow time to share individual needs, concerns, and successes. Twice a year confernce are held for a more formal conversation regarding the child's social and academic growth. Newletters about classroom happenings are emailed weekly.

Handling Separation: From the Director

It is common for preschoolers to experiece some anxiety about school. The comfortable in-home setting of Magnficent Me Preschool will help your preschooler feel less intimidated in a new setting. With the small group size children often settle in quickly and happily into their new setting. Parents are encouraged to visit the classroom with their child prior to beginning preschool so they can discuss and prepare for the experience.
