Quality of Teaching

Individualized Teaching: From the Director

We run a small program (always less than 15 kids per class) with the same two teachers EVERY time your child comes. The owners are the teachers so we are 100% invested in our school. We get to know every child very well since we are the only two staff members and can work with them individually to "challenge" them or give them individualized attention if needed. Many preschoolers leave our program and enter kindergarden reading and knowing math facts (addition/ subtraction 1-10). We take pride in our program and the families and children who come here!

  • Special Meetings
  • Two or More Regular Conferences

  • Regular newsletter/printed updates circulated to the whole school

Handling Separation: From the Director

Separation anxiety is something that is treated with loving attention to the child by acknowedging the child's feelings and reminding the child that the parent will be back in a short amount of time. We encourage our parents to "put a kiss" in the child's pocket for the child to pull out at any time to remind him/her that they will see their parent soon. We have never had to call a parent to pick up their child due to the child being overcome with separation anxiety. We will always find a way to work with the child in a positive and loving way.
