Our teachers are trained to recognize behavior patterns in students and with the parents cooperation, will seek the best possible solution, which may include the excellent resource of Child Find in Colorado. Child Find can identify special needs at an early age to ensure your child is placed in the proper nurturing environment for his/her individual needs.

Day in the Life

General School Mission

We believe that all children should have the opportunity to grow and learn to their fullest potential. We recognize each child as a unique individual with patterns of growth affecting their development. The Center has a strict policy of non-discrimination toward students and staff.

The Children’s Center is licensed by the State of Colorado and a member of the Colorado Child Care Association. We are inspected by the Health Department, Fire Department and State Licensing Department. We are proud of our recent commendation letter from the Colorado Division of Child Care thanking us for our commitment to the health and safety of the children in our care!

A Typical Day

Greeting, Opening Circle and Music/Creative Movement with Homeroom Teacher.
Then Exploring the six learning centers: Reading/Writing, Dramatic Play, Art, Science/Nature, Manipulative Toys, Games, and Listening/Library Center. Next, Language Arts time focuses on the individual goals set for each child, while Science and Math are experienced through an active learning environment. Finally, Closing circle time with review of the activities of the day.

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

The Children's Center creates an open atmosphere of fun and learning for the child, and we love seeing our parents excited about their child's time here! We provide open-house, tours, meetings with parents, as well as correspondence via email and our website. In addition, we participate in the annual Broomfield Days Parade with all of our students and parents each year.
