"The Christian home has the "first" responsibility to give children Christian instruction and training. The purpose of the preschool, is to provide learning experiences for the preschool child, which supplements the early childhood training by parents at home. Ephesians 6:4 says: "Bring them (your children) up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." This points out our responsibility for the training and nurturing of children.
To provide a Christian atmosphere for training children at an age when they're most easily directed. (See Proverbs 22:6)
To help children become aware of the daily presence of Christ in their lives.
To provide an opportunity for children to interact in wholesome social relationships.
To provide appropriate experiences to broaden growth development - (spiritual, physical, emotional, as well as socially)
To provide opportunities for cognitive development that will build important foundations for future reading and pre-kindergarten skills.
To form a close relationship between school and home.
To encourage family worship, and to encourage parents and children to attend Church, Sunday School, and Bible Classes.
