Day in the Life

General School Mission

A Typical Day

Preschool session is 8:30 am to 11:30 am.
Preschool with lunch is from 8:30 am to 12:45 pm.
3/4 day session is from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Full day is 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.

7:30 � 9:00 Welcome and Activity time inside the classrooms
9:00 � 9:15 Clean-up and get ready for the day
9:15 � 9:45 Circle time
9:45 � 10:00 Snack time
10:00 � 10:45 Recess
10:45 � 11:15 Academic Circle and Projects
11:15 � 11:30 Closing Circle time
11:30 � 12:00 Recess and pick-up time for morning students Clean-up and bathroom time
12:00 � 1:00 Lunch and indoor activities
1:00 � 3:00 Nap time
3:00 � 3:30 Clean-up and Snack time
3:30 � 4:00 Circle time
4:00 � 6:00 Indoor and outdoor activities; art projects
Thursday and Friday mornings from 10:00 to 10:20, Pastor Bob holds a Chapel service in the church for the children. The service is participative and includes music, prayers and a children�s Bible Story.
Wednesday Afternoon from 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm, Mr. Dave with Hot Shot Sports provides an exercise and sport program for children. There is a separate registration form/cost for this program."

Home-School Connection: From the Director

I send out weekly bulletins to the parents keeping them up-to-date with what is planned for their child's curriculum, and any special events that are planned for the week. I also send a monthly newletter that has a more detailed description of the upcoming events.
