From the Director:

We do our language, math and science activities as a group. The teacher provides all the resources for exploration, however, the children are touching and exploring. The teacher is there to answer questions. We do not sit the children down and 'instruct' them. We sit together and learn through doing.

Quality of Teaching

Individualized Teaching: From the Director

In our school no child is left 'behind'. We all work together and give each child the amount of time, or added assistance needed.

Day in the Life

General School Mission

We are a semi-structured curriculum philosophy. 'Semi-structured' means that our programs are planned by our teachers, and set specific daily, weekly, and monthly goals for the children to achieve.

Our students are ' led to', not 'made to', take part in these activities. we provide an atmosphere that enriches your child's learning and encourages them to explore new and exciting experiences.

Our goal is to allow the children the opportunity to expand their knowledge, to learn about their capabilities, and to develop positive ways to express themselves.

A Typical Day

We open at 7am. and provide an area for breakfast for the children as well as indoor activities.

At 8:30 or 9:00 we venture out to the playground. We greet and hug the children as they arrive.

At 9:45 we come in for our morning snack.

Then we have our big projects, circle time, art time, etc.

At 11:00 am we venture back to the playground while our lunch is being set up.

At 11:45 we come in for lunch, have a rest, and at 2:30 have our afternoon snack.

We spend our afternoons reading, playing on the playground, doing manipulatives, and art.
