"The purpose of Community Presbyterian Preschool is to provide opportunities where a child can work, play and grow intellectually, socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually.
Play is the business of childhood. Through play, children learn about their world. They learn by touching, tasting, listening, smelling and observing.
Community Presbyterian Preschool provides a well-rounded program where learning experiences are provided through art, music, literature, science, dramatic play, motor development and outdoor activities. We stress the importance of exciting, stimulating environments, both inside and outside, where children may safely investigate and explore their surroundings.
We want each child to know that he or she is a precious gift from God. We are all God's children, unique, special and loved. Our teachers show, by example, Christ's way of love, acceptance and forgiveness. We also celebrate our love for one another through monthly "Friendship Time", daily grace and prayers before snack, classroom songs and stories based on the Bible.
The greatest gift we can give a child is a positive self image and the love and excitement of learning.
