From the Director:

Our school works hard to stay posted on the most up-to-date teaching methods. We are constantly changing our curriculum but maintain basic methods that we believe nurture children's learning. Our methods are exemplified in the activities we do with the kids. Our activities are in the fields of: -Art -Science -Movement -Music -Outdoor play -Sense related activities (smell, sight, feel) We like kids to learn by doing things themselves and provide them with an endless amount of enthusiasm as well as tools to explore with. Our school is filled with toys, games, musical instruments, books, animals and even a garden. Each day, you will receive an evaluation of your child so that you are kept updated on how and what they did that day, how much they ate, and what their mood was like. Also, often you child will be taking with them a 'home version' of a story or song we talked about during the day, so that you can repeat it with them at home. Extracted from

Quality of Teaching

Individualized Teaching: From the Director

All children have their own way and pace to learning. In order to help them in their development we take special care to get to know each of our students through observations, interactions, and by giving them different activities to do. We then will try to encourage them in areas they might need help in

Day in the Life

General School Mission

Our teachers have educated thousands of children for over 25 years, with great care and understanding for how children learn to developed new skills and accomplishments. Our founder opened The Learning Campus Preschool with the focus of being able to provide a school that gives children a place to grow, to learn, and begin their first positive experience of education. A Typical Day

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

We have our monthly newsletter that outlines our weekly topics, inside the newsletter it gives them songs, internet sites and projects they can do at home with there children. Also they will get a weekly detail of the coming week events. We hold parent teacher conference's twice a year, a monthly parent board meeting giving a chance for parents to give input, volunteer for upcoming events, and it also provides them a chance to be apart of there children's education. For our older children we will send home papers they can complete at home so there parents get to see how they are doing.

Separation is Handled through:

  • Pre-entry meetings with parents at school
  • Abbreviated schedule at start of school year

Handling Separation: From the Director

We ask for parents to use the week before they start to have their child visit with us giving them the opportunity to know us better and a chance to make new friends.
