Moldovan Academy is a High/Scope school. We focus on active participatory learning - direct, hands-on experiences. In an active learning environment children engage in activities that grow from their own choices and plans. Teachers use the High/Scope key developmental indicators to support children's development. Moldovan Academy implements the High/Scope curriculum. The High/Scope approach is consistent with the best practices recommended by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

All teachers at the Moldovan Academy are truly exceptional and have a love for children and teaching that is absolutely essential. Our Transitional Kindergarten Teacher is a state credentialed teacher that has experience teaching in preschool as well as the public schools. All our our teachers have higher degrees and bring a variety of experience and backgrounds to our program. More over experience and credentials is how loving the teachers are with the children. They really know how to support children through these early learning years.

The general mission of Moldovan Academy is to instill in children a love of learning that will prepare them for a lifetime of higher achievements.

At the heart of High/Scope is the daily routine. The main components of the daily routine are as follows: greeting time, work time, large group time, small group time, snack time and outside time.
