General Approach to Learning: Play-Based

Day in the Life

General School Mission

"Little Angels is a Japanese language preschool program.

Goals of the Program:
1. A child who plays harmoniously.
2. A child who appreciates the value of each person.
3. A child who will accomplish what he or she sets out to do.

Philosophy: Our program is based upon the Preschool Education Program and Child Development No. 5 provided by the Department of Education in Japan. (The school adapts the materials which are in general use by preschools in Japan). Students will be provided a warm environment that embraces the diverse experiences and individual creativity under the condition of the first social participation without parents.

Students will be divided into three groups: 3 year olds, 4 year olds, and 5 year olds under the consideration of human interaction skills to socialize naturally. The school believes that toddlers absorb and assimilate things around them. Students will be provided opportunities to pursue mastery in every outcome independently because the student's diverse growth and development is significant. The school is committed to providing the opportunity to experience in all interactions the 'establishment of an individual in a group.' The school cultivates creativity and aesthetic sentiments.

The school considers basic English skills such as alphabet, colors, shapes, songs, and stories before entering Kindergarten."
