Other subjects taught The Bible is an important part of the Preschool and Elementary School Program as we are helping to instill Godly character traits. These character traits are illustrated using Bible stories and Biblical characters.

From the Director:

Mira Mesa Christian Prescool is an academic preschool that allows children to explore and develop the tools that make learning fun. The children learn through the use of stories and activities and the schedule is arranged to provide a variety of teacher-directed and free play activities. A strong emphasis is placed on the development of Godly character traits such as love, kindness, obedience, gentleness, truthfulness and personal accountability. Children are taught about their uniqueness as an individual that is both created and loved by God.

Quality of Teaching

Individualized Teaching: From the Director

Teachers do one-on-one activities with children who need extra help in areas in which they struggle.

Day in the Life

General School Mission

Mesa Christian Schools exist to assist parents in teaching and training their children from a Biblical viewpoint and to provide an environment that encourages high academic achievement and Godly character development.

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up." Deuteronomy 6:5-7

The staff at Mira Mesa Chrisitan Preschool know that your child is a very special person and we believe that continuity between home and school will bring balance and direction for God's purpose.

A Typical Day

Children are individually greeted as they enter the classroom when they arrive. There are opportunities each day for morning playtime arranged inside and outside. When the preschool program begins, opportunities are provided for individual and group learning, centers, art, dramatic play and teacher-led learning centers. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided for students. A soothing rest time is provided for children staying in the full-time program. After rest time, there is an opportunity for outside play and inside centers to complete our day.
