From the Director:

This method has a well researched track record. I chose Montessori because I found Sunrise Montessori for my own child and she loved school so much and couldn't get enough of being at school, so I went and took the Montessori training and eventually bought Sunrise Montessori, where I have been privileged to see many many children over the last 25 years excel and develop that same joy and love of learning! This was very different from what I experienced as a prior elementary teacher in regular public school.

Quality of Teaching

Individualized Teaching: From the Director

Excellent way to teach children so that they can develop at their own pace!

Handling Separation: From the Director

We handle separation anxiety in various ways depending on the individual child. We might have them come in for a much shorter day to begin with. Our teachers are experienced in Child Development and handling children with love & kindness. We try to have them bond with at least one teacher. Extra staff might be brought in. We try to find activities that they enjoy so as to engage them in work etc. Come and observe and experience the difference at our Sunrise Montessori School at the Roseville / Citrus Heights border where our reputation has preceded us for 29 years!! We serve the communities of Roseville, Citrus Heights, Sacramento, Loomis, Penryn, Forest Hill, Rocklin, Granite Bay, Lincoln, Orangevale, Antelope, Fair Oaks & Carmichael.
