From the Director:

We insist on nothing unless it is a safety issue but encourage all kids to try everything.

We approach each child individually as each one has different needs and responds differently to influences.

Day in the Life

General School Mission

Highlands Preschool provides a safe and nurturing environment for the growth and development of our preschool children.

At Highlands, kids are encouraged to explore the world around them under the supervision of a trained, experienced and loving staff.

Highlands is concerned with the whole child and his or her uniqueness. We are a parent cooperative bringing teachers and parents together to provide the most positive and enriching preschool experience. Just what our little people deserve!

A Typical Day

Circle time opens the day with songs and stories, a project table is the focus during a long indoor/outdoor free play period. Second circle for more songs and games forms, then snack time to end the day.
