General Approach to Learning: Play-Based

From the Director:

This program is designed to integrate children with nature and engage them in quality outdoor activities which stimulate their innate curiosity about the natural world. The students can hike as they fulfill their Judaic and Secular curriculum through direct experiences with the natural world.

Teachers are focused on all our students. Children that seem to be developmentally delayed are observed and staff reaches out for professional direction. All children are integrated into our curriculum. We have professional people that navigate our teachings so that we do work on a successful road !

General School Mission

Our school is surrounded by 2.5 acres of a natural environment. Children engage with outdoor activities which stimulate their innate curiosity about the natural world. The goals of our curriculum incorporate the development of fundamental everyday skills. Children's independence and development of a positive self esteem .

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

Parents are always welcomed to school. Teachers are available at all times to discuss issues of concern with parents.
PT conferences held twice a year. Documentation is done on each child to review with families.
Parents unite every Friday at 12:00 for Shabbat time with children.
Parenting Center once a month for parental discussion with Therapist.

Parents leave when they and teacher feel that the child is ready. We welcome parent's to stay and feel comfortable.
