There are different stations throughout the classroom- dress up, reading, art, blocks manipulative areas and so on. This is balanced with some more structured times which include storytelling, creative drama and music. As the children get older, we do some work prereading, writing and math activities to be sure they are prepared for acceptance in the kindergarten of their parents choosing.

Quality of Teaching

Individualized Teaching: From the Director

Each child and family at Narnia is celebrated and respected for who they are. Every child has unique talents and gifts, interests and proclivities, the staff tries to teach to the individual child. If special needs arise, we work closely with the family to design activities and approaches to learning which best suite the child. We are flexible and creative in our teaching style and look for staff that have these qualities.
