Philosophy & Approach

School Philosophy

General Approach to Learning: Play-Based, Teacher-Led

From the Director:

Our play-based and academically curriculum is built upon the principles recommended by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the National Lutheran School Association (NLSA). This ensure parents that their children are in a developmentally appropriate program with a strong spiritual background and a strong academically foundation. We recognize that God has given each of us special individualized gifts and talents. Kids of the Kingdom Child Center strives to enhance these gifts and talents by focusing on the whole child. We do this by providing age appropriate hands-on experiences that promote growth in the areas of cognitive ,emotional, social and physical development. We promoted the love of Jesus and caring for one another to be our best self to the world.

Handling Separation: From the Director

Separation is hard on children as well as their parents. We give that extra love and support to make separation better for both of them. Sometimes its texting a picture of the child at play to the parents or having the child draw the parents a picture to give to the parents at pick up.
