Mommy and me preschool enrichment program is offered to children ages 18 months to 5 years. Our program is a two hour long program per session where children( with atleast one parent or guardian) meet with our preschool teachers to mimic a preschool environment once or twice or three times a week. All activities are offered indoors only except for field trips. During their two hour stay, children are exposed to 4 main core activities of our program. ACADEMICS, MUSIC & MOVEMENT, ARTS & CRAFTS AND GROSS MOTOR SKILLS.
ACADEMICS include numbers, math concepts, phonics & reading, story time, rhyme time, circle time, practical science time.
MUSIC & MOVEMENT includes Mutlicultural music, Educational music, Ear training, Patterns and Sequence recognition through rhythm stick activities.
ARTS & CRAFTS include exploring various preschool arts and crafts that develop creativity and passion for art.
GROSS MOTOR SKILLS include unique indoor activities that children perform to develop both fine motor and gross motor skills such as balancing, tossing, parachute play, etc

ARYA Learning Center was founded by Ms. Viji Anand in the year 2007. In september of 2010, It became a Mommy and Me Preschool center providing options for parents to help teach their little ones in a structured program with the help of preschool teachers. Ms. Viji moved to the United States in 1999 for graduate studies. In 2002, she moved to the Bay area and has been a Bay Area resident ever since. She has been actively incolved in teaching young children, various classes since 2002. She has great passion and love towards teaching and believes that best laid foundations go a long way. "A child who learns early in the comfort zone of their family grows up to be a confident, outgoing and academically inclined student during their school years and beyond ".
