Other subjects taught In addition to our preschool program we also have a transitional kindergarten. Our morning program is from 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. and our afternoon program is from 12:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. This program is taught by credentialed teachers.

From the Director:

We at Trinity believe that preschool age children learn naturally through play and social interactions with each other. We seek to provide an environment for those interactions while at the same time preparing each child for kindergarten at his or her own pace. We believe that pressure, route memorization and rigidly academic environments are counter productive to these goals. Instead, we strive to encourage genuine curiosity, social connection though human relationships, and an organic love of learning. We see great value in our association with Trinity Lutheran Church. We view as critical the messages of morality, self respect and love for one another communicated in our weekly chapel time.

Quality of Teaching

Individualized Teaching: From the Director

Trinity Lutheran Church preschool teachers all meet state requirements for early childhood education. The teachers are all CPR and First Aid Certified as well as having Health and Safety Training. Trinity teachers regularly attend early childhood development workshops and classes. Trinity teachers are passionate about the early childhood education field!

Day in the Life

General School Mission

Our preschool is called to "learn Jesus, follow Jesus and teach Jesus." We accomplish this through service projects and caring for our neighbors.

A Typical Day

Our quiet little preschool is a beautiful way to introduce your child to the world of learning and investigation. The curriculum encompasses art, science, music, cooking, pre-math concepts, pre-reading activities, the development of small and gross motor skills, and social interactions. Each month a theme will be used to integrate these components.
