Philosophy & Approach

School Philosophy

From the Director:

Skills are introduced through materials which are child-centered and teacher-directed. There are times each day where planned teacher-led work is done with an emphasis on specific aspects of the curriculum. There is also time each day when the children are allowed to explore their individual interests in a variety of ways, through different areas (such as library and dramatic play) avaiable in each room, music and dance lessons, and during outside play.
