Day in the Life

General School Mission

Since 1964 Little Methodist School has been a Parent Participation Preschool for 2.5-5 year olds. Our goal has been to open the door to learning through creative discovery. We promote a positive self-concept, provide opportunities for learning through play based on needs, interest, and abilities, and facilitate students discovering themselves socially, physically, academically, and spiritually. With our Toddler Program, we allow the toddlers to be exposed to and stimulated by new experiences that will help prepare them for preschool.

A Typical Day

We are open from 9am-12pm. We have a flexible schedule that is both child and teacher directed. We believe in learning through play.

We encourage parents to stay as long as they feel is needed to help with the transition. Parents, teachers, and director work together to devise a plan that will support the child and parent.
