Philosophy & Approach

Day in the Life

General School Mission

"We believe children's sense of self-worth is best developed when they feel loved and led to discover the joy of independent learning. We recognize that the primary venue for a preschooler's emotional growth is the home. We see our role as supporting parents in the nurture of their children and enriching children's experience in a group setting.

We embody this philosophy by:

demonstrating God's love for each child in day-to-day interaction

nurturing children in a safe environment that is aware of God's tender care

offering appropriate play experiences that contribute to children's physical, social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual development

providing a supportive atmosphere that fosters self-confidence and encourages initiative and self-reliance

offering a curriculum that stimulates self-motivated learning through the full use of a child's senses, feelings and abilities"
