A traditional AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) recognized preschool for children ages 2-6. Early Bird Montessori provides a joyful and nurturing preschool learning program that combines Montessori classrom work with opportunities for creative and imaginative play. As an AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) recognized preschool, our goal is to nurture and expand the minds of young children by providing a safe and peaceful environment. We believe in the Montessori philosophy, which supports the child's cognitive, social emotional and physical development. At Early Bird Montessori we value cultural diversity. Our teachers are dedicated to supporting and encouraging the growth of each individual child.

The children's environment and it's progressively changing learning materials are designed for development of the child's intellectual, social, emotional, and physical wholeness. We offer children the experience of choosing meaningful activities that inspire a delight in learning, independence, self-esteem, a sense of beauty and order, and problem-solving. Each class is designed to continually meet the changing developmental needs of its' students.

Individualized Teaching: From the Director

In the Montessori classroom, the teacher has prepared the environment which contains materials that correspond to specific develpmental stages. Under the teacher's guidance, the children are given free choices to select material to work on. The teacher respects the spontaneous and individual interests while giving the child the opportunity to pursue them.
