Our class sizes are small, so we are able to do individualized learning based on the child's skill level.

Day in the Life

General School Mission

To nurture the whole child while providing quality care in a program committed to equipping children with academic and social skills while building wholesome productive members of our community.

A Typical Day

7:00 a.m. -- Good Morning! We open the doors. 8:00 - 9:00 -- Breakfast is served (no breakfast will be served after 9:00; kitchen closes to prepare lunch) 9:00 - 9:30 -- We have fun outside at play. 9:30 - 11:30 -- Class time - preschoolers are divided into three groups for teacher/student time. We learn many things and strengthen our motor skills. Language, social and physical skills are developed through age appropriate activities. 11:30 - 12:00 p.m. -- We wash hands and then we eat a hot, nutritious, well-balanced meal (bag lunch on Fridays). 12:00 - 12:30 -- Lunch & recess 12:30 - 12:45 -- We prepare for nap by using the restroom and washing our hands. 1:00 - 2:45 -- We are very tired so we lay down on our mats for a nap. 2:45 - 3:30 -- We have our afternoon snack and then we're up and at it again! 3:30 - 5:15 -- We have a variety of activities including outside play, story time, spanish, arts & crafts, and other fun learning activities. 5:15 - 5:30 -- Clean-up time. 5:30 - 5:45 -- Stories, music, and fingerplay time. 5:45 - 6:00 -- 15 minute grace period. Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

Regular newsletter go home to parents imforning them of what topics/themes the child is working on so that parents can continue the learning at home. Also, regular progress reports are given to parents.
