That each child needs to develop the ability to observe, think, and express his or her thoughts clearly.
That it is the school's responsibility to observe, measure, and recognize students' achievements, and maintain a positive environment for learning.
That proper education includes learning and practicing respect and responsibility for the rights and needs of others.
That the school should be a contributing member of the community, and that students and teachers should undertake projects that are of service to the community.
That the school should support a diversity of backgrounds, beliefs, personalities, and ideas, while maintaining the rules and requirements appropriate to achieving the objectives outlined above.
