Guiding Light Christian Educational Center is committed to achieving academic excellence through pragmatic learning, enhancing the growth of curiosity and imagination through the define practice of work produced through creative activites through an integrated curriculum. This approach addresses the whole child, promoting the development of healthy, responsible, and creative human beings.

Individualized Teaching: From the Director

Each child is encouraged to develop at his/her own pace, according to his/her own ability. Children are grouped, not by age, but by development, so they can grow and learn at their own rate.
We also encourage parent participation. A close unity among the parents, child and school will help enrich your child's early educational experience.

Program Outline

6:30 - 7:30 Arrival
7:30 - 8:00 Outside Activities
8:00 - 8:15 Flag Salute & Prayer
8:15 - 11:30 Snack & Class time

11:30 - 12:15 Lunch Time
12:15 - 2:00 Nap & Relax Time
2:00 - 3:00 Wake Up Procedure
3:00 - 4:30 Class Activities, Snack
4:30 - 5:00 Outside Time
5:00 - 6:00 Interest Centers


Separation is Handled through:

  • Pre-entry meetings with parents at school
  • Small group sessions
  • Extra staff dedicated to handle separation
  • Parents in classroom early on
