Notes on Schedule and Extended Care
Price quoted is for full time (5 days/wk.). Also offer part-time spots if they mesh with others' schedules, but no partial days. I would describe my program as a pre-preschool, with a play based curriculum. We have art and music, story time, some Cantonese; we spend lots of time learning social skills (the toddler rules of engagement!); how to follow directions; how to use good manners, and how to be a friend. Somewhere along the way, we also invariably learn such useful things as the alphabet, our numbers, shapes, colors, etc.
There are three teachers here at all times, and for part of each day a fourth teacher's helper is here; we are therefore able to individualize and pay a lot of attention to each child's needs.
