Application Information
| Applications accepted | We invite interested families to contact us and begin a conversation about what our school has to offer and how our program may fit the needs and educational goals for your child. families schedule a one-on-one admissions tour or attend one of the admissions open house events scheduled throughout the year. this initial visit can be just for the parents, or they may bring the child/children with them (visits & testing). during the tour, the director of admissions will explain the next steps, the application materials, and other requirements. iq testing is not required for applicants to pre-k or kindergarten, although families are welcome to have kids tested at this age. in the absence of iq results, the pre-k and kindergarten teachers will observe and test applicants during the initial tour or the full-day class visit to help determine the child's skill level and readiness for our program. families who enroll in the school should be prepared to provide current student physical and health/immunization records. our pre-k program is for children age 4, with some flexibility if students turn 4 after september 1st but demonstrate readiness to begin our program. |
| Application Information | $50 |
| Acceptance criteria: | If a spot is available or becomes available during the school year, we will consider new student applications and offer enrollment spots to qualified candidates as space allows. Families who would like to be considered if a spot becomes available in a class that is full will be added to the waiting pool. The Director of Admissions will stay in communication with these families about the status of any spots that become available. Admissions decisions from among the waiting pool applicants will be made to admit students who best fit our program. Da Vinci Academy policies do not allow discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sexual orientation, disability, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its admissions, employment or academic policies, or any school administrative programs |
