Application Information
| Applications accepted | Children must be 12 months old by august 1st children must be 24 months by august 31st children must be at least 2 ½ years of age by august 31st applications for admission to hilltop are accepted for children 3 months and older. classroom placement is according to child's age on august 31 (except for toddlers who must be a year old by aug. 1) of the academic year in which enrolled. |

| Acceptance criteria: | Children of University of Kansas students receive highest priority on our waiting lists. KU staff and faculty families receive the next highest priority because of the important role they play in making it possible for KU students to succeed in attaining their education and career goals. Children from non-KU affiliated families are accepted only if there are no KU affiliated families on the waiting list for the child's age group. Hilltop Child Development Center admits children of any race, color, religion, national origin, sex , and qualified children with disabilities to all rights, privileges, programs and activities of the Center and does not discriminate on the basis of any of these factors in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, fee payments, food service program and other school administered programs |

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
