Application Information

Applications accepted For families new to pilgrim community nursery school, the registration placement is: applications as accepted at the annual open house held in january. for two weeks following the open house, parents can tour the school while classes are in session. applications can be submitted at this time, as well. the following forms are required by the illinois department of children and family services and must be on file for each child: application form medical form filled out by doctor permission form for emergencies / field trips / photography child developmental history or update signed form that parent/s have read the discipline / guidance policy illinois department of children and family services summary of licensing standards for day care centers (back page)
Acceptance criteria: Pilgrim Community Nursery School welcomes children of all races, religions, ethnic backgrounds and economic situations. Priority status for enrollment is given to children in families who: Are Pilgrim Congregational Church members, or Are currently enrolled at Pilgrim Community Nursery School, or Have had a sibling who attended Pilgrim Community Nursery School. When there are more applications received than openings available, a lottery system will be used to determine who is placed and the order of placement on the wait list

Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
