Applications accepted Pregnant women and children from birth to age 5 who meet federal poverty guidelines may be eligible for head start services. live within polk county. be expecting a baby or have a child less than three years of age. meet federal low-income guidelines. drake university early head start may accept women and children whose family income exceeds federal poverty guidelines. be willing to participate in early head start activities. if you are completing the application contact record for an individual or family as an agency representative family income (for 1 year) income tax return, 1040, w2, 12 month pay stubs, written statement form employers, or documentation of tanf/fip and ssi (bring current notice of decision. child's birth verification medipass, hospital or state certificate child's physical exam (within 1 year or current for age) child's immunization card child's dental exam (within 12 months if child is one year of age or older) a lead test and hemoglobin must be included (if child is one year of age or older)

Make sand at home! Half the fun is creating, and half is playing with the material. Mix all listed ingredients together in a plastic bin, and then give your child small containers, shovels, funnels so that they can dump and fill. Toy cars and bulldozers are also a lot of fun.
