Application Information
| Applications accepted | To place your child on the enrollment list for the sci preschool, parents should submit contact information to the preschool by phone, by mailing in a completed preschool application, or after scheduling a personal visit with the preschool director. enrollment requests are filed in the order in which they are received and parents of eligible children are notified before school begins to secure enrollment with a non-refundable deposit. formal registration and deposit are required to guarantee your preschooler’s space. any child is eligible to be enrolled in the sci preschool provided he or she meets the following criteria: • three years old on or before september 15 for the three and four-year-old programs • four years old on or before september 15 for the four and five-year-old programs • have completed the required forms including: medical, immunization, emergency consent, pick-up permission, photo release • all children must be toilet trained • families of all students must be science center of iowa members while the child attends preschool |

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
