Application Information

Applications accepted Montessori school, we recommend the following procedure: contact the school office for literature about the school and an application for the program that is appropriate to your child's age. complete and return the application with the $25 application fee. we will then prepare a file folder for your child, and this begins your admission process. specific questions may be directed to our director of admissions, steve slaughter. phone the school office to arrange for a classroom observation. the classroom observation is an important step in the process and is required of all parents seeking admission for their child. when space becomes available, we will contact you to bring in your child for an "interview." you and your child will meet before or after school in the classroom with the prospective teacher, the school director and admissions director. while the teacher shows your child the classroom and gets to know him/her better, mary and steve will meet with you and answer any additional questions you may have. we endeavor to accept children into the primary program who are between the ages of two and a half to three and a half and toilet trained.
Deadline for applicationsFebruary 01
Application Information $25
Acceptance criteria: Admission Testing: Applicants for The Montessori Middle School take a standardized test. Applicants will be placed on a secondary waiting list and will only be contacted if spaces cannot be filled from the Active Waiting List. We will still continue to process applications for students transferring from another Montessori school
