Application Information
| Applications accepted | Children entering pine grove nursery school must have completed their toilet training. a child entering our program for three year olds must turn three on or before december 31 of the year he or she enters. a child entering our program for four year olds must turn four on or before december 31 of the year he or she enters. a child entering our pre-kindergarten program must turn five by december 31 of that year, and must have attended a four year old program. registration forms are sent to the parents/guardians for each child registered by phone. pre kindergarten registration is done through a rolling registration, beginning december1. |
| Acceptance criteria: | First priority is given to those currently attending Pine Grove Nursery School. In the three year old program, repeating threes and fours will be accepted before sibling or open registration. At this point, sibling registration takes place. Siblings of previous Pine Grove Nursery School students are admitted, as space allows, before open or public registration (see below). Parents/guardians of children who have attended Pine Grove Nursery School and who wish to register a sibling will be given next priority as space allows. However, it is possible that in a given year, space may be unavailable. Past attendance at Pine Grove Nursery School cannot guarantee a space for a sibling. The registration form and fee must be returned to the school by the specified date or the space will be given to someone on the waiting list |

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Make sand at home! Half the fun is creating, and half is playing with the material. Mix all listed ingredients together in a plastic bin, and then give your child small containers, shovels, funnels so that they can dump and fill. Toy cars and bulldozers are also a lot of fun.
