| Acceptance criteria: | "The Admissions Lottery : All new applicants to Park West are selected on a lottery basis to fill the spots remaining after the priority students have been admitted. That lottery is held in March. We go class-by-class drawing names one by one until we fill the class. We continue drawing names until every name has been drawn and these names are then placed on a waiting list. The classrooms are generally divided equally between boys and girls, and separate wait lists are maintained for each gender. Those wait lists remain active sometimes until after the start of school in the fall in case a vacancy arises." -Park West Cooperative website |
