| Applications accepted | There are 5 pieces included in the application packet: 1. part 1: application for admission 2. part 2: parent statement 3. part 3: student statement and writing sample (ms and us only) 4. part 4: teacher recommendations 5. part 5: release of information form complete part 1 and part 5 of the application and return them to the school with the fee of $40 step 2: call the admissions office to schedule a parent interview step 3: complete and submit part 2, the parent statement, prior to the interview date step 4: if you have not already done so, forward the confidential recommendation forms, part 4, to your child's current classroom teacher(s) step 5: complete the parent interview. at the conclusion of the interview, we will schedule a time for your child to attend a play day or visit afs. please note that applicants to grades 2-5 visit the school for two consecutive days applicants to pk must turn four by september 1 of the year in which they enter afs, |

Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
