| Applications accepted | Designed for the 2 1/2-4 year old who need not be toilet trained. children in this program are completely toilet trained, have reached the age of 4 by january 1st. we strongly encourage parents to call and set up a day to visit the desired program with your child to observe the program. when you visit the program, please inform the staff if your child has any special needs. our staff will guide you in selecting the program and schedule, which meets your child's developmental needs. children must be 2 ½ years old to enter pre-school and 4 years of age to enter pre-kindergarten, however you may register them during the registration period and begin class when they turn 2 ½ yrs. complete the registration form and submit it with a non-refundable $75.00 registration fee per family. a registration fee will be refunded only if we cannot place your child. prior to the first day of class, parents will provide the following forms (which will be sent to you) and must be fully completed: 1. child information card (completed on both sides) 2. health appraisal form: immunization dates must be listed on the form and signed and dated by the physician. 3. child background card 4. parent consent contracts |
| Acceptance criteria: | To ensure you get your choice of schedule, register as early as possible. We place on a first come first serve basis. Once a class is filled a waiting list is started also on a first come first serve basis. Children 2 1/2 to 5 years are eligible to enroll without regard to sex, race, religion, or national origin. Exclusion could occur if a Somerset staff or parent feel that the child would be unable to benefit from the program due to health, physical or emotional non-adjustment issues |

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
