| Applications accepted | Admissions tours are held in the mornings. our admissions coordinator is also happy to schedule tours at other times as needed. any previous school records must also be submitted. once it is determined that an opening is available, the parents will be contacted to schedule a student and teacher visit. generally, applicants must be the following ages on august 31st for admission that year to the programs specified below: toddler 21 months - 3 years pre-primary 3 years - 6 years school application parent/child questionnaire tuition contract and parental authorizations health questionnaire birth certificate current immunization record from your child's physician |

| Acceptance criteria: | The Montessori School for Shreveport (MSS) has provided children of all races, religions, and academic abilities with an individualized education focused on achieving academic, social and moral excellence. We believe in fostering the individuality and diversity of each student. Waiting Pool Children of Staff and Siblings Children of MSS employees and siblings of currently enrolled students are given first priority for admission. Montessori Transferees In order to support the Montessori philosophy, students who are transfers from other Montessori schools are given second priority for admission. Commitment to Long-term Montessori Education Consideration is given to students whose parents are committed to a long-term Montessori educational experience. There is a prioritization according to the date an application for admission is received. However, this is considered in conjunction with the other requirements for admission and placement considerations Admissions priority may be reassigned according to the age and gender balance of existing students in the requested program |

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
