Parents' Comments on Individualized Teaching
Parent #1
After group time, children move through centers independently and therefore can interact with all teachers in the school. All teachers are dedicated to the school's philosophy that each child is an individual and is valued as such. I am impressed each time I'm at school by the way teachers speak to the children both in providing praise or guidance. The teachers are amazing!
Parent #2
We were very pleased with our daughter's teachers. They really got to know her as an individual, honored her uniqueness (even the difficult parts) and treated her in a way that was appropriate for her unique self.
Parent #3
I believe that while my child is at Campbell CDC, he is safe, respected, and loved. It is very reassuring as a parent to have found such a wonderful place that my child can thrive. All of my children that have gone through this preschool program have developed a love for school and learning. What a great way to begin!
Parent #4
Many times the teacher will let the children guide themselves through situations, while being supervised, and if it looks as though the child needs the help, they will step in. But first they like to let the child try on their own.
Parent #5
I haven't had a lot of opportunity to see the teachers in action but from what I have seen, I've been very impressed. They are generally very patient, respectful, quick to intervene, and always finding opportunities to help children grow their social skills.
