Parents' Comments on Individualized Teaching

Parent #1
The 2 year old teachers at Linden Tree are excellent. The head teacher is extremely well qualified, kind, patient, and smart, and she sets a great example for the very nice, warm and helpful assistants.

Parent #2
The main teacher is great and full of energy and enthusiasm. The two back-up teachers are not as energetic, focused or dynamic, although they are sweet and affectionate with the children.

Parent #3
I've never seen a teacher who is as patient, careful and consistent with children as our lead teacher. She is kind and loving and provides children with a strong sense of safety and security. She is adored by our children and by us. She has a real gift for talking to children and understanding what they are communicating both verbally and non-verbally. The assistant teachers are equally kind, gentle, and clearly love children.

Parent #4
The teachers do not offer constructive feedback. In fact, they seem to only focus on children's weaknesses. The school administration and teaching staff is clearly looking for a certain profile in the children they accept with very little tolerance for behavior they deem problematic. They seem to have no interest in developing and teaching these young children how to appropriately respond to social and even academic challenges faced by preschoolers.
