Director's Comments on Individualized Teaching
Description of how teachers work with children who are
"behind," "excelling" or "different" from the majority of students
Due to past difficulties and misunderstandings, we no longer hire teachers who are not Montessori certified.
Parents' Comments on Individualized Teaching
Parent #1
I felt that the director of OMS was difficult to reach and hard to work with. This was frustrating at first. I learned that working with the teacher instead of the director, accomplished what I needed. In fact, the teacher was the highlight of the school, and I was quite pleased to work directly with her, and know that my requests and concerns were being addressed.
Parent #2
Although initially the school had very good teachers, to which I would have answered 5 for all questions, the current staff (all the good teachers have left) are sadly uninspired, and dont seem to really like working with children. They seem overtired and overdrawn.

The Art teacher is great. She worked for years at Habitot also. She loves what she's doing. For music, they have Music together.
